randomness...a poem

*i don't know where i am going with this one, so realize that it may be hard to follow*

c'est la vie and c'est le mort

how i cry out; "i want more"

hear the sighing and the moaning

the labour of the living who are groaning

we who work until till we're done

burnt to exhaustion like the sun,

we keep going the gold is in sight

but then it flickers and off goes the light.

i am me

and i am two

the life you see

and the one i do-

how i am caught up in zeal

i scream

i cry

i want to be real

i want to do things in a manner

that doesn't get written down on a planner

i want to be random and somewhat aloof

but that doesn't happen; dream goes "poof"

am

who

i never

thought i

would become;

within that

dream

i now

see

who

i

am.

i

love those who love me

i

care for those who care for me

i

smile at those who smile at me

i

am

trying to change all this;

to keep this old and reach out to those

who frown when i smile

who discard me when i care

who hate me and yet i love...

i want to get to know those i don't get along with better-

i don't want them to change necessarily

i am the one who needs to change...

i reach out to God and say "i want more"
