Kurt Cobain and God

The topic in which I write is based on one of Nirvana's songs:
"Come as you are".
It comes to my attention that too often CHRISTians (including myself) tend to make God as someone who looks on the outside, in which we have to dress-to-impress God...

Not so,
we as CHRISTians
and non Christians
are welcomed by God to
'come as we are.'
in which,
we (CHRISTians) need to extend that kind of attitude to everyone;
to
"come as you are."
That was not the intended meaning behind Nirvana's song,
but it is a valid truth; that we should come to God without hesitating. He looks at our hearts and our motives - to which we need not "dress up" our externals, but to go to him regardless of part of the walk on the road of life we're on...

"Come as you are"
and don't hold back anything from him,
he sees your heart
and why you come,
so just come...
Undeserving, yet forgiven
