i met George today...

Not to long ago, i met George.
i've seen George around, he's an older man who wears a beret and asks for a short clean joke, but today i met him.
He was sitting outside of the Ben waiting; perhaps for his transportation back to where he came from.
i met him, and of course, he asked for a joke. This one made him think and smile: "three men walk into a bar, then a fourth ducked."
He smiled and said that is what would happen if that was the case.
George informed me that he had a stroke which left his brain in a scrambled state. He said that his rehibilitators told him to keep talking, and to repeat things to restore more of his memory.
He was very grandfatherly and it made me remember my grandfather... it left me with somewhat of a sad/melancholic state of memory; my grandfather has been dead for sometime now and i still miss him.
i left George to eat dinner with my professor, his wife and his five children. George smiled as i left him, he passed on two prayer requests to me:
1.) Though he sees himself as 91 years young, he believes that GOD (if he's willing) will give him another 29 years...
2.) To thank GOD for everyday and everything. He admitted to being a loss for words in this regards, but i am speechless as well when it comes to expressing how much gratitude i have for GOD.
