so i was going to fix a problem/despute i had with a friend today; sending her an email in which i would somewhat lay it on thick...too thick, about something she said...
but thinking it over,
praying it over and
going over the love chapter (aka 1 corinthians 13) in class i realized... "hey! i am about to commit more damage by 'fixing' my friend!" and i also thought "wow! i was about to fix my friend, before i fix myself! i am such a jerk!"
i realize that problems need to be resolved, but sometimes/usually the best step is to fix the problem of yourself FIRST!
in the Bible it says this; Matthew 7:3 "Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother's eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye?"
wow...i am so thankful to GOD once again for helping me out this week. i am always thankful to GOD, but sometimes i don't show it as much!
